This training is the second in a series of three held through Portage College for the general public. This series is focused on strengthening capacity for addressing hate and discrimination. This session will be held in person at Portage St. Paul campus. We will discuss the importance of the intake and how to get the information you need. Using case studies, we fill out both provincial and federal complaints together while focusing on the four critical elements needed.
In the second half if this session we will look at case studies and analyze trends we have been seeing throughout Stride. We will also spend time learning about eight action areas in human rights and how we can apply these actions in our work to address hate, racism and discrimination in our communities.
